Medical Acupuncture (Dry Needling) and TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine)
Medical Acupuncture is the use of very thin, filiform needles for therapy of muscular and joint pain. Trigger points are irritable, hard "knots" within a muscle which may cause pain and discomfort over a larger area, leading to difficult in performing sports or everyday tasks.
The practise of Medical Acupuncture involves inserting an acupuncture needle into a triggerpoint to treat the pain associated with injuries. The aim is to release the muscle fibres associated with trigger points thereby leading to decreased pain, improved mobility and function.
Medical Acupuncture offers a unique approach to health and well-being with the ability to treate a wide range of conditions, such as:
Reproductive and Gynaecological Issues
Poor sleeping patterns
